Hi everyone, my name is Kyle Von Ruden. I am a former Division I college athlete as well as a former professional baseball player. Although my MiLB career was short lived I have loads of experience through every aspect of baseball from high school, junior college, college, independent professional baseball and the childhood dream a MLB affiliated professional. I have played at just about every level and I was never the most gifted, but my passion for the game allowed me to develop skillsets that gave me an upper hand against "more talented" competition and I want to share that. In college, I was a converted short stop to a pitcher so learning became crucial. I can connect with the hardships, uncertainties and successes of young athletes. I specialize in pitching, but understand the sport in its entirety; feel free to have a look at some accolades of mine and lets bring to light those weaknesses and turn them into our strengths.

THE TEAM
Kyle brings fundamentals, skillsets and poise to the program. He has competed at nearly every level of baseball, inlcuding college, independent and professional. He began his college career at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento before receiving a full scholarship to the University of Hawaii. Following college he joined the Frontier Independent Baseball League before becoming a free agent signee to the Chicago White Sox Organization. These will help players gather desired results through a specifically designed programs to target and improve mechanical and mental weaknesses. Mentality has become a priority in paving the way to becoming a great player, mechanics pose a significant importance as well, both are addressed in professional detail. He holds honors of recording two complete game shutouts for the University of Hawaii in 2016, as well as an All-Big West team selection, and the Chicago White Sox Pioneer rookie ball league pitcher of the year honors in 2017.
Scott began his therapeutic career over 20 years ago entering a massage therapy training program in Los Gatos, California. It was here that he found a passion and love for working with and manipulating the body to bring relief from pain and to improve people’s overall health. After working in the field for a couple of years and developing a knack and improving his skills, he went back to school at the University of California Santa Cruz and received his Bachelors in Biology. In 2004 he attended the Soma Institute of Neuromuscular Integration which gave him a deeper understanding and improved skill set in Manual Therapy. In 2011 he became a Certified Gyrotonic Instructor increasing his understanding of exercise and movement. Scott graduated from The University of St. Augustine in 2018 with the degree of Doctor of Physical Therapy combining over 20 years of hands-on experience with a deeper education in human biology, physiology, anatomy, exercise, and rehabilitation. He and his wife Alicia have joined forces to create a unique clinic in San Clemente that focuses on Manual Therapy and the world renowned Gyrotonic Method to bring a new approach to movement, exercise, and rehabilitation.

OUR COURSES
We offer training and programs that entail baseball-specific workouts. These programs can be modiefied to particular goals of each client, inlcuding rehab and prehab to avoid injury and maximize body mechanics.
